Methodology

How these numbers are made.

These figures come from a live TripAdvisor search of Tokyo, run through the StayAPI multi-provider search endpoint. The sample is 60 properties. Prices are for a two-night stay, two adults, one room, checking in August 7, 2026 to August 9, 2026. Rates are multi-provider prices returned by TripAdvisor, in USD.

Every number on this page is an aggregate: an average, a median, a total, or a count within a band. We never publish individual hotel listings, names, or per-hotel prices. The nightly rate for each hotel is the midpoint of its low and high provider price.
