What the HolidayCheck API gives you.
Search by hotel name to find matching properties and their UUIDs. Read descriptions, amenities, location, contact information, and published check-in/out wording with hotel details.
Read guest feedback while preserving the native six-point rating scale. Review responses include text sections, entry timestamps, stay months, and published reviewer metadata. A supported hotel URL can also supply the UUID through URL to Hotel ID.

Can I search by hotel name?
Yes. Send query with 1–200 characters after trimming and optional page. Each page contains up to 10 matches. available_count and has_more describe only the available result set, not an exhaustive global total. Pass each returned hotel_id directly to details or reviews. There are no dates, prices, or destination-search controls.
What hotel details are included?
Details include the canonical hotel URL, published address, location, contact information, description sections, grouped amenities, and check-in/out wording. Unavailable values are null or empty arrays. Star classification and its source are separate from the six-point guest rating. Prices and photo galleries are not included.
How do I get HolidayCheck hotel reviews?
Call /v1/holidaycheck/hotel/reviews with a hotel UUID in hotel_id. Use page and sort to browse the results.
Can I start with a HolidayCheck URL?
Yes. URL to Hotel ID accepts supported hotel and review-listing URLs on holidaycheck.de, .com, .at, and .ch, with optional www. It extracts the UUID without checking existence. Individual /hrd/ reviews and the short /hi/{uuid} links returned by name search are excluded; use the search result hotel_id directly.
What rating scale does HolidayCheck use here?
Ratings remain on the native six-point scale. recommendation_percent is a separate percentage.
Can I change the review language or page size?
No. Pages contain up to 10 reviews and text is returned as supplied by HolidayCheck. Sort by most_relevant (default) or recent_desc.
What does a HolidayCheck request cost?
