Build your own hotel software. Without code.

Compset monitoring, review tracking, rate parity, booking search — describe the tool you need to an AI app builder, wire it to StayAPI's live hotel data, and own what you've been renting.

Let's build a compset dashboard: my hotel's Booking.com rate next to 5 competitors for the next 30 days.
  • Scaffolded the dashboard layout
  • Wired live Booking.com rates via StayAPI
  • Deployed to production

Done — your compset board is live. Want a weekly email summary too?

What you can build

Stop renting your hotel software.
Build the version you own.

You don't need another Lighthouse or Cloudbeds seat to watch your compset or your reviews. Each of those products is a data feed plus a UI. The feed is StayAPI. The UI is now a prompt.

How it works

From idea to app in production.

  1. 1

    Get your key

Sign up for StayAPI. First 50 requests on us. No credit card.

  2. 2

    Paste a starter

Open Lovable, v0, or Base44 — or Cursor / Claude Code in your editor. Paste a starter prompt, drop your key in.

  3. 3

    Ship your app

Deploy on the builder's hosting. StayAPI keeps feeding it live rates, reviews, and availability.

Pick your builder

Describe it. Watch it build.

Never coded? Chat-to-app builders deploy for you. Technical? Use the editor you already have. The prompt starters below work in all of them.

Lovable

Describe the app in chat. Lovable ships a working web app with auth, a database, and hosting.

v0

Vercel's builder. Prompt to production-grade React, deployed on Vercel in a click.

Base44

All-in-one builder. Prompt to app with hosting, users, and data already wired.

Already technical? Build in your editor.

Cursor

The AI editor. Point it at the StayAPI docs and it writes the integration for you.

Claude Code

Agentic coding in your terminal. Hand it a starter prompt; it ships the whole feature.

Prompt starters

Starting is one sentence.
Copy one and keep talking.

Paste a starter into your builder, drop in your StayAPI key when it asks, and refine from there. The docs are written for exactly this.

Let's build a compset dashboard: my hotel's Booking.com rate next to 5 competitors for the next 30 days.

Let's build a review inbox pulling my latest Booking, Google, and TripAdvisor reviews into one feed, newest first.

Let's build a parity checker comparing my direct price against Booking and Expedia for the same room and dates.

Let's build a property page with live photos, amenities, and room rates for my hotel.

Let's build a hotel search for my city with a price filter and a map, powered by live Booking data.

Let's build a weekly digest that emails me every new review under 8/10 across my portfolio.

Six starters. There are countless more: if a hotel tool shows it on a screen, your app can pull it from StayAPI.

Examples

What one sentence turns into.

Three of the starters above, sketched into app layouts. This is the first conversation with your builder; wiring in live StayAPI data is the second.

Questions

Things people ask first.

Not here? Email info@stayapi.com — a human answers.

Do I really not need a developer?

Not for version one. Builders like Lovable, v0, and Base44 ship a working, hosted app from a conversation — you describe, they build. And because the output is standard code, any developer can pick it up later if you outgrow the builder.

Is there a step-by-step example I can follow?

Yes — our Claude Code tutorial builds a working hotel review feed in three prompts: live Booking.com review data, a small backend, and a styled, paginated UI. It's the exact workflow this page describes, written out prompt by prompt.

What does it cost once the app is live?

Two subscriptions you control: the builder's plan (typically $20–30/month) and a StayAPI plan sized to how much data your app pulls. You start free — 50 requests on signup, no card — and pick a plan when the app earns its keep.

Where does the app run?

On the builder's hosting, with a shareable URL — or your own domain. StayAPI is just the data feed behind it: a plain HTTPS API your app calls for rates, reviews, and availability.

What data can my app pull?

Live rates, availability, reviews, rankings, photos, and property details from Booking, Expedia, Agoda, TripAdvisor, Google Hotels, Airbnb, and more. If a hotel tool shows it on a screen, it's probably in the docs.

Can my agency build these for clients?

Yes — that's half the point. Build once, restyle per client, and StayAPI's per-property pricing scales with your book. See how agencies use StayAPI for the white-label side.
