HolidayCheck URL to Hotel ID API - Extract Hotel UUIDs
Extract the hotel UUID from a HolidayCheck property or review-listing URL.
Overview
Extract a HolidayCheck hotel UUID from a hotel or review-listing URL with StayAPI. Get the lowercase ID and normalized URL for paginated hotel review requests.
Scope
Extraction does not verify that the hotel exists. Accepts exact holidaycheck.de, holidaycheck.com, holidaycheck.at, or holidaycheck.ch hosts, with optional www, and paths /hi/{slug}/{uuid}, /hr/{slug}/{uuid}, or /hr/{uuid}. Individual /hrd/ review URLs are not supported. Query parameters and fragments are removed. Pass the returned hotel_id directly to Hotel Details or Hotel Reviews. The short /hi/{uuid} URLs returned by name search are not accepted here; use their hotel_id directly.
Authentication
Send your StayAPI key in the X-API-Key header. Each successful call costs one credit. Successful requests return JSON; failures use RFC 7807 Problem Details.

The response example is illustrative. Optional source values can be null. Review counts and ratings change over time.

Errors and limitations
Errors use RFC 7807 Problem Details with provider: "holidaycheck" and a correlation id.
- 400: unsupported or malformed HolidayCheck URL.
- 422: missing required URL parameter.
- 401 / 402 / 429: check your API key, available credits, and account rate limit.
